Building someone’s dream takes a lot of time and rigorous effort. It is a test of passion, patience and sacrifice. In sports, aspiring athletes started young and took their trainings to an extra mile. This is of course the result of the motivation and support given by their parents and loved ones.
The same story goes for San Beda Red Cubs captain and former Gilas Pilipinas cager Migs Pascual, his family drives him forward to reach his dreams and continue in mastering his craft.

Migs started his basketball career at an early age of 10. Since then, Migs never go weary in training; instead he took feats seriously and achieves personal bests in basketball. Though he stumbled and fall many times Migs never lost the support of his parents.
His Daddy Edmond accompanied him every training and tirelessly supported his son, he is Migs’ one on one buddy and great motivator with his mom. “Kahit na may mga injuries ako, sinusuportahan parin nila ako at minomotivate to strive harder,” Migs said.

Such vision never hinders Migs to reach higher as he joined Passion Sports Academy this year. With the constant guidance of Coach Rob, Passion Sports Academy Founder, Migs stepped up above the horizon as he prepared for the upcoming NCAA season and many opportunities that may come along the way.
As the year nearly ends and the pandemic slowly lose its toll in our country, sports have started to sprout again. For Migs the next year will be a future to behold. We are sure that every sweat that falls will pay off in its proper time and all thanks to Migs’ family who continued to push him as time went by. Migs’ advice to his fellow Ka-Passion; “Be consistent on every training, success is achieved through lots of efforts, hard work and motivation.”
